6 | Unscrew nut (17) and place pressure limiting valve (16) to one side | Except model 405.05 | |

Collect escaping transmission oil. Seal transmission oil lines (18) with stop plugs. | |||

9 | Detach drive shaft (5) and tie up on cross member | Screw/bolt, drive shaft to transmission flange | |

14 | Attach and secure hoist at transmission bracket and front axle output shaft | Use a suitable lifting tool. Be careful, transmission is top-heavy. | |
15 | Remove valve block for EPS gearshift system from frame on the right | With engine 900.915/916, 902.923/924, the bolts in the battery box must be counterheld. | |
