Removing

Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray.
Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Drain coolant

Do not disconnect return coolant hose.

Release rear drive module

Remove poly-V belt (2)

Remove bolts of belt pulley (3) from the coolant pump (1)

Detach belt pulley (3) from the flange of the coolant pump (1)

Remove bolts (4) of coolant pump (1)

Remove coolant pump (1)

Clean sealing surfaces.

Install

Insert the seal (5) in the coolant pump (1)

Use new seal (5)

Attach coolant pump (1) and tighten with bolts (4)

Fill coolant, bleed

Place belt pulley (3) on the flange of the coolant pump (1)

Tighten bolts of the belt pulley (3) on the coolant pump (1)

Install poly-V belt (2)

Check poly-V belt (2) for damage and wear in advance.
