Ensure that no one is within tilting range of cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt cab all the way to end position and secure with safety strut.

Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove coolant pipe (2)

Remove coolant feed pipe (3) of the exhaust gas recirculation

Remove coolant thermostat housing (4)

Slacken bolts (5) for belt pulley (6)

Counterhold belt pulley (6).

Slacken poly-V belt and remove

Remove belt pulley (6)

Detach coolant hoses (7, 8) at the bracket (9)

Remove bracket (9) from the coolant pump (10)

Only if the coolant pump (10) is replaced.

Detach coolant hose at the coolant pump (10)

Remove tensioning device (11) on oil filter housing (12)

Remove banjo bolt (13) of the coolant line (14)

Installation: Replace sealing rings of banjo bolt (13).

Unscrew bolts (15) for coolant pump (10)

Remove coolant pump (10) and remove gasket (16)

Installation: Replace seal (16).

Clean sealing surfaces on the oil filter housing (12) and on the coolant pump (10)

Install in the reverse order

Check coolant level and correct if necessary
