Danger! | Danger of injuries and damage to the materials when tilting and returning the vehicle cabin | Make sure that the cabin tilting and return area is free from objects and people. Tilt the cabin until the safety rod locks it in the final position. Return the cabin to its correct locking in the working position.
1.1 | Tilt the cabin | Trucks with advanced cabin 688, 693
Trucks with advanced cabin 979
Danger! | Danger of injuries and damage to the materials when tilting and returning the engine hood | Make sure that the hood tilting and return area is free from objects and people. Tilt the hood and lock it with the safety rod. Return the hood to its correct locking in the working position.
1.2 | Tilt the engine hood
1.3 | Remove the hood | ||
1.4 | Open the access cover | For buses, the access to perform the maintenance and repair works vary according to the body type/manufacturer
Check the body manufacturer instructions.
2 | Remove the command unit (PLD) | Engine 904.9, 924.9
3 | Remove the turn sensor (B15) | Install: Press the turn sensor (B15) up to the stopper.
Danger! | Danger or burning due to the coolant high temperature | Previously depressurize the system by carefully opening the compensation reservoir lid up to the first stage. Do not remove the lid if the engine temperature is above 90oC. Use the requires PPE.
| Indications regarding to the coolant | ||
