1 | Remove cylinder head cover | ||
2 | Remove charge air pipe | ||
3 | Remove black charge air hose (3) | Installation: Do not interchange the black charge air hose (3) and the red charge air hoe. | |
Danger! | Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection. | |
4 | Drain coolant on radiator and the crankcase | ||

5 | Unscrew coolant line (5) at connection piece | ||
6 | Detach coolant line (5, 7) at charge air manifold (1) | ||
7 | Remove cover (11) at charge air manifold (1) | ||
8 | Unlock and detach engine wiring harness (10) at charge air temperature sensor (B9) and boost pressure sensor (B13) | ||
9 | Detach the charge air manifold (1) from the cylinder head | Installation: Clean sealing surfaces. Replace gaskets (9). | |

10 | Remove charge air temperature sensor (B9) and boost pressure sensor (B13) | Only when replacing the charge air manifold (1). | |
Installation: Replace sealing rings. | |||
11 | Install in the reverse order |
