3 | Remove injection lines of the fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3) | ||
Installation: Check fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3) after the engine test run for leak tightness. | |||
4 | Remove pressure line (1) | ||
5 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from the fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3) | ||
6 | Release and remove safety clips (2) of the leak oil line (3) | Installation: Engage leak oil line (3) audibly in the safety clips (2). | |
7 | Release leak oil line (3) from the fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3) and remove | Check condition of the leak oil line (3) and replace if necessary. It must not be possible to twist individual pieces of hose without any force. | |
Installation: Install leak oil line (3) only after installing the safety clips (2). | |||
8 | Remove screws (4) from the threaded holes in the cylinder head | The screws (4) remain in the clamping claws (5). | |

9 | Mark installation location of the fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3) | When reinstalling the fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3). | |
10 | Release fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3), remove together with the clamping claws (5), clamps (6), and screws (4), and cover injector nozzles with suitable plugs | Installation: Install new sealing rings on the fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3) and screws (4). Grease fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3) with special grease. | |

11 | Clean injector wells with suitable round brush | ||
12 | Blow out injector wells and threaded holes | ||
13 | Clean fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2,Y76/3) | When reinstalling the fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3). | |
14 | Install in the reverse order | ||
15 | Read out fault memory, delete if necessary, and perform classification of the fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3) | When replacing the fuel injectors (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3). | |
