Remove/install

Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contactwith fuel.

No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove injection line of the fuel injector for cylinder 2 (Y76/2)

 Installation: Check pressure line (1) after the engine test run for leak tightness.

Disconnect electrical connector from the fuel injector for cylinder 3 (Y76/3)

Expose leak oil line (2) and fuel return line (3) on the bracket (4)

Remove screws/bolts (5) and remove bracket (4)

Unscrew union nuts of the pressure line (1) from the high-pressure pump (6) and from the rail (7)

Guide out pressure line (1) and remove

Remove retaining clamp from the pressure line (1)

When installing a new pressure line (1).

Install in the reverse order
