Remove, Install

Danger!

Risk of explosion from fuel igniting, risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel.

Fire, sparks, open flames or smoking forbidden.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove vacuum pump

Detach fuel lines (2, 3) at the predelivery pump (1)

Cover over poly V-belt. Fuel which flows out may cause damage.

Pay attention to use of locking arm. Refer to:

Disconnect, connect fuel lines at engine.

Unscrew torx bolts (5)

Detach predelivery pump (1)

The predelivery pump must not be opened.

Installation:Replace seal (4), clean sealing surface. Ensure that the driver of the predelivery pump meshes into the driver (6) at the inlet camshaft.

Install in the reverse order
