2 | Remove the supercharge air collector (12) | ||
3 | Remove the head cap cover | ||
4 | Remove the injection piping | ||
5 | Remove the injectors (1) | ||
6 | Remove the engine breather valve hose (2) | ||
7 | Remove the connector (3) in the camshaft position sensor | ||
8 | Remove the connector (10) from the glow plugs | ||
9 | Remove the bolt (4), unlock the support with the injector electrical cables (5) from the head cover (7) and the common rail | Pay attention to the mass cable attachment (arrow). | |
10 | Remove the breather (6). | ||
11 | Remove the head cover (7) | ||
| Install | ||
12 | Install the head cover (7) | Check the head cover gaskets (8, 9) and replace them if necessary. In the case of replacement of the head cover Transfer the engine breather valve and the camshaft position sensor. Do not tighten the bolts, since the injectors are aligned by the head. The con-compliance with this procedure can cause leakage in the injectors, as well as generating tension in the injection piping. | |
13 | Install the injectors (1) | Initially install all the injectors and the claws. Fit the new bolts and tighten them in the following sequence: Injector 3-4-5-2-1 (engine 612.9). | |
14 | Tighten the bolts (11) of the head cover (7) | | |
15 | Fit the connector (10) in the glow plugs | ||
16 | Install the bracket with the electrical cables of the injectors (5) in the head cover and fit the bolt (4) | Pay attention to the mass cable attachment (arrow). | |
17 | Fit the connector (3) in the camshaft position sensor | ||
18 | Install the breather (6) | ||
19 | Install the engine breather valve hose (2) | ||
20 | Install the injection piping | Replace the injection piping. Do not exceed the power moment (tightening). | |
21 | Install the head cap cover | ||
22 | Install the supercharge air collector (12) | ||

Risk of injury by crushing or burn in the contact during the start procedure with the engine running | Prevent the vehicle from having involuntary movement. Use working garment closed and well tighten. Do not touch heated or moving parts. | |
23 | Check the engine tightness | Run the engine and let it warming up, turn it off and check it for tightness. | |
