Clean up oil filler plug proximities (1) with cloth and drain plugs (2).

Drain the oil while it is at the working temperature..

Remove the filler and drain plug to drain the oil.

Clean up the oil drain plug magnet.

Check the seal rings conditions of the plugs with flange and, if necessary, replace them.

Install the oil drain plug.

Lubricate gentle the nut.

Oil level should reach the lower edge of the filler plug.

Gearbox with power take-off and oil cooling system: Make the working operations from 6 to 10.

Gearboxes with power take-off: Make the working operations from 7 to 10.

Lubricate gentle the nut.

Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Pull out the plug connection in thermal switch of the oil pump and make a bridge.

During work operation 7 the oil pump is connected and complete the cooling of the oil. Then connect it in the plug connection again.

Starting the engine during 2 minutes and stop it again.

Remove oil drain plug (1).

Fill up with oil the lower edge of the filler opening.

Put the oil drain plug.
