Replace coolant and heater water hoses

Remove

 Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Notes on coolant

Drain the coolant from radiator and engine and collect in a clean vessel.

 Coolant which is severely soiled or which has been in the cooling and heating system for 2 years or more, must be replaced.

Remove all cooling and heating water hoses
(including auxiliary heater)

Inspect the condition of the sealing surfaces of the pipe connections and pipes.



Install

Install new cooling and heating water hoses.

Pour in coolant



Inspect condition and adequate anticorrosion/ antifreeze protection of the drained coolant. If necessary, replace coolant or replenish anticorrosion/ antifreeze agent 

Test the cooling and heating system for leaks with tester
