Please remember that with immediate effect a 2­component epoxy basic body filler with part number A 012 989 29 71 is available and can be ordered through the GLC. Below is some advance information on the application areas and properties.

Applications

Repair of surfaces and tinned transitions

For part replacement when rectifying unevenness

For part replacement when tinning in seam area

For part replacement without tinning in seam area (only in combination with adhesive kit A 012 989 17 71)

Properties

Easy application through static mixer

Application without primer

Easy process capability and grinding capability

Resistant to high pressure, nonshrinking

Thixotropic set (i.e., the flowability changes to match externally-applied influences)

Free of solvents, PVC and isocyanates

Usable up to a maximum coat thickness of 2 mm

Pot life (processability duration) of 60 to 90 min.

Both forced hardening (1 h at 60 to 65 °C) as well as air dehumidification possible (8 to 24 h at interior temperature)
