The Henkel plastic repair concept is also offered as part of training by the paint system suppliers as part of the national packages.
Detailed agreements such as duration of training, logistics, training course contents etc. are to be agreed directly with Henkel and/or the paint suppliers in analogy to the previous procedure.
Your national centers can provide information on the paint suppliers approved for your market.

Plastic repair box
Using the approved Teroson plastic repair set from Henkel all damage such as cracks, holes or deep scratches >1mm on painted plastic detachable components can be repaired on Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles. When repaired properly the repaired plastic parts correspond completely to our technical requirements.
The repairs to be performed should, however, be economically logical. The costs for labor and material (not including painting) should not exceed 70 % of the price for the replacement part. The painting procedure described below should be accomplished according to the painting specifications for the national package suppliers approved for repair painting. The corresponding painting specifications are integrated into the existing national packages of the paint suppliers.

Procurement possibilities, delivery handling/obligations of Henkel
With technical approval the following materials from Henkel can be supplied to our service network for commercial vehicles.
The conditions for sourcing contract products are to be agreed individually for the individual countries between the respective Henkel companies or authorized dealers and the
Mercedes-Benz service organizations or importers in the countries in question.
Within the Federal Republic of Germany, Henkel AG & Co. KGaA Standort München supply the Mercedes-Benz Service network directly with contract products due to orders placed by the latter.

In other countries, delivery will be accomplished by the local associated company within the Henkel Group or by Henkel contract dealers.
The service organizations outside Germany should send their orders for contract products to the responsible company in the Henkel Group or responsible Henkel contract dealership.

However, local direct supply with contract products can only be made in those countries in which Henkel has the corresponding sales/marketing organization either through associated companies of the Henkel group or through authorized dealers.
In countries in which Henkel does not have an adequate universal sales/marketing organization, our service companies / importers can obtain the Henkel contract products direct from Henkel.

Services such as advice on questions on issues such as environmental protection and work safety relating the contract products and routine care locally by specialist advisors and application engineers as well as advice and care in the event of problems relating to materials and processes are furthermore firmly agreed in so far as they are in connection with the contract products.
In addition a hotline in German and English for answering technical questions has been set up in Heidelberg by Henkel. The hotline is accessible daily from 8 am to 4 pm (local time in Heidelberg, Germany).

Courses of training
Specific courses of training are offered by Henkel European-wide in cooperation with the approved paint suppliers (national package suppliers).
