Please remember that, when replacing the radio, the basic data from the old radio (if it can still be read and is still available) must be temporarily stored in the vehicle diagnosis system before it is removed.
After the new radio has been installed, the temporarily stored basic data must be transfered to the new radio and the radio must be commissioned.
To do this, select the following menu items:

Control units view N87/2 - radio (RD) Adaptations Commissioning Control unit replacement with commissioning of new control unit
Model 906
Control units view N87/8 - radio (RD) Adaptations Control unit commissioning Control unit replacement with commissioning of new control unit
The serial numbers of the radio must not be entered or changed manually in the Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc), nor should it have been changed.
After the new radio has been installed, commissioning must be carried out with the vehicle diagnosis system.
Otherwise, the radio code is deleted.
The repair documents listed below for removing/installing the radio must always be observed.
