We would like to notify you here of an important change for using the installation tool for expansion anchors (1) in the following WIS documents (see also SI00.20-S-0051B):

The installation tool referred to in the above-mentioned documents for expansion anchors (1) with item number: 510003 may not be used. An order is therefore not necessary.
An unused bolt M8 (3) with a nut M10 (4) must therefore be used as the installation tool for the expansion anchor (2).
Depending on the height of the nut M10 (4) the bolt M8 (3) may not be inserted by more than 30 mm into the vehicle floor. When bolted together, the thread of the expansion anchor lower part must be fully used. The bolt M8 (3) used must have property class 8.8 at least.
When installed, the expansion anchor (2) must be inserted into the hole together with the lower part of the expansion anchor. Pressure may need to be applied. During the assembly process, the expansion anchor (2) is drawn in with the upper part of the expansion anchor into the hole. The assembly process is then completed when the upper part of the expansion anchor is flush fitted.
