1 | Remove injection nozzle of exhaust aftertreatment system on SCR catalytic converter (5). | ||
2 | Unscrew union nut on temperature sensor (1) and remove temperature sensor (1) on SCR catalytic converter (5). | Installation: Apply heat-resistant lubricating paste to thread of union nut on temperature sensor (1). | |

5 | Remove clamp(4). | Installation: Replace clip (4). | |
Clamp, diesel particulate filter to exhaust system center | |||
6 | Remove SCR catalytic converter (5) from decoupling elements (6) and remove in downward direction. | SCR catalytic converter (5) and rear muffler are designed as one piece. | |
Helper required. | |||

7 | Check decoupling elements (6) for damage. | If damage is identified, | |

Replace damaged decoupling element (6). | |||
8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

9 | Perform engine test run and check exhaust system for leak tightness in area of SCR catalytic converter (5) while doing so. |
