Remove paneling (2)

 Reposition cover (2) to the rear.

Remove cover (12)

 The lever for steering column adjustment must be open.

Remove combination switch (S25)

 Move combination switch (S25) to one side with cables connected.

Detach engine control/permanent brake operating lever (S2)

 Place engine control/permanent brake operating lever (S2) to one side with lines connected.

Disconnect electrical connector (10) at drive switch

Pull out readout electronics of immobilizer from ignition lock

 Installation: Pay attention to installation position.

Detach universal joint (20) from steering shaft (17)

 Installation: The mark (arrow B) of the spacer ring (21) on the steering shaft (17) must point to the center of the assembly slot (arrow A) of the universal joint (20).

 Fit bolt/nut, universal/constant velocity joint
