Switch off ignition

Turn steering wheel (1) to straight-ahead position

Take off cover (2)

Vehicles without code SA5 (Airbag, driver)

 The cover (2) is clipped onto the steering wheel (1) at four points.

Disconnect electrical connector (3)

Unscrew nut (4)

 Installation: Install new nut (4).

 Nut, steering wheel to steering column

Remove steering wheel (1)

 If the factory marking on the steering wheel (1) and steering shaft is not present, mark the position of the steering wheel (1) relative to the steering shaft.

 Installation: Observe marking on steering wheel (1) and steering shaft.

Install in the reverse order

 Steering wheel, steering column bracket, steering shaft
