Remove wheel hub

Remove diaphragm brake cylinder

Remove automatic linkage adjuster

Front axle with brake wear sensor

Unhook the outer retracting spring first and then the inner retracting spring with a suitable brake spring hook

Lift brake shoes from brake camshaft (5) and swing to one side

Pull brake camshaft (5) out of bearing bracket (2)

 Installation: Grease bearing and splines of brake camshaft (5).
Insert the brake camshaft (5) so that the marking (A) points outward.

Unscrew nuts (6), pull out bolts (4), and remove bearing bracket (2)

 Nut, brake camshaft bearing bracket to brake carrier

Remove radial shaft sealing rings (1, 3) from bearing bracket (2)

 Installation: Grease sealing lips of radial shaft sealing rings (1, 3).
