9 | Heat up new thrust ring (2) to approx. 80 °C and slide on up to contact surface on axle journal (1) | Apply pressure to the thrust ring (2) until it has cooled down sufficiently to ensure that its installation position no longer changes. | |
10 | Install new radial shaft sealing ring (3) | Apply coating of sealant to radial shaft sealing ring (3) without rubberized outer surface on the outer circumference. | |
