1 | Remove corresponding rear wheel. | ||
2 | Remove wheel hub cover at center of light alloy wheel. | Model 447 except code RS3 (steel wheels 6.5 J x 16) except code RS7 (steel wheels 6.5 J x 17) model 448 | |
3 | Release collar nut. | ||
4 | Attach rear wheel. | ||
Two wheel bolts are sufficient. | |||
5 | Operate parking brake. | ||
6 | Unscrew collar nut. | ||

The vehicle must be in contact with the ground. Replace collar nut. | |||
Collar nut, rear axle shaft to wheel hub | |||
7 | Release parking brake. | ||
8 | Remove rear wheel. | ||
9 | Remove brake shoes of parking brake. | ||
10 | Remove rear brake cable (2) from wheel carrier (1). | ||
11 | Detach rear axle rpm sensor from wheel carrier (1). | ||
Do not remove electrical wiring harness. | |||
12 | Unscrew bolts (3). | For this, counterhold nuts (4). | |
Installation: Replace bolts (3) and nuts (4). | |||
Screw/nut, wheel carrier to semi-trailing arm | |||
13 | Remove rear axle shaft from wheel hub. | Secure wheel carrier (1) against falling down. | |
If the rear axle shaft is stuck. | |||

Push rear axle shaft out of wheel hub. | |||

14 | Remove wheel carrier(1). | ||
15 | Install in the reverse order |
