	Remove
1	Detach propeller (1) shaft from front axle only.	 Support propeller shaft.	AR41.10-W-0050A
2	Remove front axle drive shafts		AR33.30-W-0100D
3	Remove ring gear with differential		AR33.30-W-0464B
4	Remove tab washer (8)
5	Unscrew threaded ring (4)	 Do not pull out the drive pinion (5) yet
		 Claw-type wrench	*673589000700
		 Ratio wrench	*000589696300
6	Prepare drive pinion (5) for removal	 Clamp threaded ring (4) against coupling flange (3) with  so that the halves of the compensating ring cannot slip into the oil groove when the drive pinion is withdrawn, making it much more difficult to remove the drive pinion	AR33.30-W-0458-03A

7	Pull drive pinion (5) out of axle housing (9)
8	Remove shims (7) from axle housing (9)
9	Check pinion head bearing (6) in axle housing (9) and replace if necessary	 If damaged, replace pinion head bearing 
		Remove/install pinion head bearing	AR33.30-W-0460-01A

10	Install shims (7) in axle housing (9)	 The thicker shim (7) must be installed towards the center of the housing
11	Prepare drive pinion (5) for installation	Clamp threaded ring (4) against coupling flange (3) with  so that the halves of the compensating ring cannot slip into the oil groove when the drive pinion is installed, making it much more difficult to remove the drive pinion	AR33.30-W-0458-04A

14	Remove drive pinion (5) again and install correct shim (7)
15	Install tab washer (8)		*BA33.30-N-1010-01E
16	Install crown wheel with differential		AR33.30-W-0464B
17	Install front axle drive shafts		AR33.30-W-0100D
18	Install propeller shaft (1) on the front axle		AR41.10-W-0050A
