4 | Remove propeller shaft at differential assembly | Support propeller shaft. | |
5 | Remove differential lock connector (10) | Only with differential lock (interaxle differential lock). | |
6 | Remove differential lock compressed air connection (8) | Only with differential lock (interaxle differential lock). | |
7 | Remove differential assembly (6) | ||
| Install | ||
8 | Install shift cylinder (3) with parts (4 and 5) | Only with differential lock (interwheel differential lock). | |
9 | Screw bolt M18x1.5 (1) into the shift cylinder (3) until the differential lock is engaged | Only with differential lock (interwheel differential lock). Engaging the differential lock prevents the shift collar from falling down when the differential assembly is installed. | |
10 | Install differential assembly (6) | Clean sealing surfaces and coat with sealant. Use new bolts. When using serrated bolts coat thread with sealant. | |
11 | Install front axle drive shafts | ||
12 | Remove differential lock shift cylinder (3) with parts (4 and 5) | Only with differential lock (interwheel differential lock). | |
13 | Tighten bolts (7) | ||
14 | Install differential lock compressed air connection (8) with new sealing rings (9) | Only with differential lock (interaxle differential lock). | |
15 | Install differential lock connector (10) | Only with differential lock (interaxle differential lock). | |
16 | Install shaft of through-drive | ||
17 | Install differential lock shift cylinder (3) | Only with differential lock (interwheel differential lock). | |
18 | Install propeller shaft |
