Remove

Drain transmission oil from transfer case.



Remove transfer case.

Remove screws (4).

Remove front cover  (2) at intermediate housing  (6).

Remove output flange.

Remove rear cap  (1) at intermediate housing  (6).

Remove radial shaft sealing ring from output flange for front axle.

Remove radial shaft sealing ring from output flange for rear axle.

Remove radial shaft sealing ring from transfer case input shaft.

Clean sealing surfaces and check for damage.

Assembly cleaner

If damage occurs,



Replace transfer case.



Install

Apply sealant.

Attach rear cap  (1) at intermediate housing  (6).

Install new radial shaft sealing ring at output flange for rear axle.

Attach output flange.

Attach front cover  (2) at intermediate housing  (6) and screw in screws (4).

 Bolt, front transfer case cover to transfer case

Install new radial shaft sealing ring at output flange for front axle.

Install new radial shaft sealing ring to transfer case transmission input shaft.

Install transfer case.

Fill transfer case with transmission oil.
