Transmission 725.0 in model 213 (except 213.088/089/288/289), 238 | |||
2 | Use suitable tool to pry radial shaft sealing ring (2) out of transfer case | | |
3 | Check seat of radial shaft sealing ring (2) for damage | If damage is present | |

Replace transfer case. | |||

4 | Moisten new radial shaft sealing ring sealing lip (2) with transmission oil | ||
| Automatic transmission fluids (ATF) (specification 236.17) | ||
5 | Insert guide (1) into housing | Drift | |
6 | Place new radial shaft sealing ring (2) on drift (4) | Drift | |
7 | Press in new radial shaft sealing ring (2) using drift (4) until drift (4) makes contact with housing | Drift | |
8 | Remove guide (1) from housing | Drift | |
9 | Install transfer case |
