Remove/Install

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove combination switch

Without multifunction control lever on right of handicapped vehicle, "Movability" code ZI3 and without multifunction lever and cruise control lever on right of handicapped vehicle, "Movability" code ZI4

With multifunction control lever on right of handicapped vehicle, "Movability" code ZI3 and with multifunction lever and cruise control lever on right of handicapped vehicle, "Movability" code ZI4

Remove jacket tube cover

 Installation: Pay attention to correct seating of jacket tube cover.

Detach shift lock cable (1) from ignition lock

 Compress retaining lugs (arrows).

Press shift lock cable (1) out of brake pedal bracket (2) and detach

 Press retaining lugs on plastic clip together and press out of brake pedal bracket.

Remove shift lock cable (1)

 Installation: Pay attention to routing of shift-lock cable without kinks.

Install in the reverse order

Adjust shift lock cable

Operational check

 The transmission may only be shiftable in ignition lock position "2" and, when the brake pedal is depressed, out of position"P".

It should only be possible to remove the ignition key in selector lever position "P" and when the brake pedal is not depressed.
