	Remove
1	Remove transmission housing (1) from torque converter housing.		AR27.50-S-0601E
2	Remove retaining ring (5s).	 To do so, press together clutch pack BR (5).
3	Remove clutch pack BR (5).
4	Remove disk spring (5t).
5	Remove screws (6s).	 Hold the multidisk brake B2 (6) while unscrewing.
6	Remove multidisk brake B2 (6).	If required
		

		Disassemble/assemble multi-disk brake B2	AR27.50-S-0880E
7	Remove parking lock gear (7).
	Check
8	Check parking lock gear (7) for damage; replace as per findings.
	Install
9	Install parking lock gear (7).
	Measure
10	Measure and adjust clearance of multidisk brake B2 (6).		AR27.51-S-7229E
11	Install multidisk brake B2 (6).	 The external plate carrier of the multidisk brake B2 (6) is simultaneously the piston of clutch pack BR (5) and must not tilt over. Otherwise function of clutch pack BR (5) is not ensured.
12	Screw in screws (6s).	 Before tightening the screws/bolts (6s), press the external plate carrier from the inside against the park pawl gear (7). Otherwise the components could get damaged.
		 Replace screws/bolts (6s).
		 Bolt, multi-disk brake B2 to transmission housing	*BA27.40-N-1003-01I
13	Install disk spring (5t).	 Insert disk spring (5t) in such a way that the curvature of the inner circumference points toward the multidisk brake B2 (6).
	Check
14	Check disks of BR clutch pack (5) for scorch marks and wear.	 Replace disks as per findings.
15	Install clutch pack BR (5).
16	Install retaining ring (5s).	 To do so, press together clutch pack BR (5).
	Measure
17	Measure and adjust clearance of multidisk brake BR.		AR27.51-S-7229-01E
	Automatic transmission fluids (ATF) (specification 236.15)		BB00.40-P-0236-15A
		 The thickness of the retaining ring (5s) determines the clearance. Commercially available devices/tools Feeler gage Outside micrometer

18	Install transmission housing (1) at torque converter housing.		AR27.50-S-0601E
