Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Remove/install

Remove output unit.

Automatic transmission fluids (ATF) (specification 236.15)

 Installation:
Apply oil to transmission components before installation.
Otherwise damage can occur during the startup phase when the transmission is being put into service.

 The output unit consists of the multidisk clutch K3, rear hollow shaft, rear planet carrier, output shaft and rear ring gear.

Remove drive shaft (11).



Check

Check drive shaft (11) for wear and damage.

If corresponding findings are present,



Replace drive shaft (11) parts.

Disassemble/assemble K2 clutch

Remove Torlon rings (1a) from drive shaft (11).

 Installation: Replace the Torlon rings (1a).

Remove cylinder flange along with front planet carrier (12).

Remove inner plate carrier (13).

Remove multidisk brake B3 (15).

 Installation: Position bores (arrows) of multidisk brake B3 (15) and multidisk brake B1 (16) exactly on top of each other.

If necessary,



Disassemble/assemble multi-disk brake B3 (15).

Remove multiplate clutch K1 (14).



Check

Check multiplate clutch K1 (14) for wear and damage.

If corresponding findings are present,



Replace parts of multiplate clutch K1 (14).

Dismantling and assembling clutch K1

Install in the reverse order.
