2 | Expose electrical lines on gearshift lever (6) | Only transmission 715.520/527. Be careful not to damage the cables when cutting the tie straps. | |
3.1 | Detach splitter group switch (3) with boot (5) from shift lever (6) and place to one side | Transmissions 715.520/527 | |
3.2 | Detach connector (4) with boot (5) from shift lever (6) | Transmissions 715.561/568 | |
Danger! | Risk of injury caused by being caught or pinched as cab is tilted | Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut. | |

Danger! | Risk of injury to skin or eyes from hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning from swallowing hydraulic fluid. | Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. | |
5 | Disconnect hydraulic line from telescopic rod (10) | Counter the pipe elbow when unscrewing the hydraulic line. | |
6 | Detach telescopic rod (10) from shift lever (6) | The tightening torque must be strictly observed otherwise the shift mechanism becomes stiff and may skip gears. | |
7 | Remove silent block bearing (8) with spacer sleeve (9) and washers (7) on gearshift lever | Installation: Grease washers (arrow). Pay attention to installation position of washers. The shoulder must point inwards. | |
8 | Remove shift lever (6) | | |
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
