2 | Depressurize pressure reservoir for automatic gear control (AGS) | Depressurization should preferably be carried out using STAR DIAGNOSIS as the system can be filled with a pressure of up to 90 bar and the manual depressurization represents an increased source of danger. | |

3 | Partially remove transmission wiring harness (4) | Only remove transmission wiring harness (4) far enough to expose the pressure reservoir (3) hexagon. | |
4 | Detach supply line to hydraulic pump | Collect any escaping hydraulic oil in suitable container and dispose of in line with applicable regulations. | |

5 | Remove pressure reservoir (3) | Wear safety glasses. Use open end wrench (WAF 30/32). Unscrew pressure reservoir (3) slowly, as any residual pressure may blow off over the thread. Collect any escaping hydraulic oil in suitable container and dispose of in line with applicable regulations. | |

7 | Fit supply line to hydraulic pump | ||
8 | Install transmission wiring harness (4) | ||
9 | Fill oil container with hydraulic fluid | Only sheet 345.0 hydraulic fluid may be used as otherwise the hydraulic system may fail. | |
