The following operation steps can also be used for the return line and the clutch pressure line (3).
Removing
1 Unlock the hydraulic lines (1) on the automatic gear control (AGS) hydraulic control unit (A92), with a suitable release fork (2) until a colored sealing ring is visible between the widening of the hydraulic line (1) and the spring cup.
2 Carefully separate the hydraulic transmission positioner (4) from the automatic gear control (AGS) hydraulic control unit (A92). In doing so make sure that the hydraulic pressure lines (1) are not twisted.
3 Unlock hydraulic lines (1) on the hydraulic transmission positioner (4) using a suitable release fork (2) and remove.
Collect any escaping hydraulic oil in suitable container and dispose of in line with applicable regulations.
Install
When the hydraulic lines (1) are pressed in, the colored sealing rings between the widening of the hydraulic lines (1) and the spring cup must no longer be visible.
4 Press in the hydraulic lines (1) on the hydraulic transmission positioner (4) until they latch audibly, check for firm seating if necessary by trying to pull them out.
5 Mount hydraulic transmission positioner (4) with preassembled hydraulic lines (1) on the automatic gear control (AGS) hydraulic control unit (A92). In doing so align the hydraulic lines (1) such that they fit into the relevant openings, without bending the hydraulic lines (1).
6 Press hydraulic lines (1) into the automatic gear control (AGS) hydraulic control unit (A92) until they audibly latch into place, if necessary check by attempting to pull out of the tight seating.
