5 | Place stick shift on neutral position | ||
6 | Remove coupler cable (3) on spherical terminal (13) | The gear stick shift (12) must be on neutral position. | |
7 | Loosen the screws (9) and remove the counterweight support (6) | Remove the counterweight support (6) with the counterweight (15) and the counterweight rod (14) assembled without altering the setting. | |
8 | Remove counterweight sleeves (15) | Disassemble counterweight (15) support (6) only if necessary. | |

9 | Loosen screws (8) and remove upper articulation support (5) from stick shift (10) | Remove nut (11) only if necessary. | |
10 | Remove screws (7) and (7.1) and remove selection and coupler cables support (4) | ||

11 | Clean all components | Do not use chemical products such as solvents, gasoline etc. | |
Dry clean the components linked to stick shift in the gearbox, the activation cables and the protection caps. | |||
| Verify | ||
12 | Verify the stick shift components in gearbox | Check for worn out and damaged components and replace them if necessary. | |
13 | In case it is necessary, before assembling, lubricate with grease the spherical ends of the selection cables and link the articulation axle on the counterweight rack (15) | To lubricate the counterweight articulation axle (15), remove elastic lock ring (17) and the thrust washer (16). At assemble, if necessary, install a new elastic ring on the end of the axle. | |
14 | Lubricate articulation sleeve on stick shift (10) | Disassemble the stick shift (10) only if necessary. | |

15.1 | Install selection and coupler cables rack (4) and tighten the screws (7) | | |
15.2 | Install the screws (7.1) | | |
16 | Install upper articulation rack (5) with screws (8) | Verify if stick shift (10) fits lower gear shift terminal (12). | |

17 | Verify in the cabin if the stick shift is on neutral | ||
18 | Install counterweight rack (6) together with counterweight set (15) and tighten screws (9) | | |
19 | Assemble selection (2) and engaging (3) cables | Verify right positioning of spherical terminals on stick shift (12) and gear shift (10). | |
20 | Install counterweight rod (14) on gearbox set | Adjust counterweight rod (14). | |
