1 Input shaft

2 Front transmission housing

 	Remove/install
1	Detach clutch housing from transmission	Only perform on transmission without integrated clutch housing.

2	Attach transmission to assembly device
3	Remove rear transmission housing		AR26.40-T-2475B
4	Remove shift forks and shift rails	Transmission 714.120/668/690/691/692	AR26.60-T-0010B
		Transmission 714.140	AR26.60-T-0010BA
5	Remove main shaft and countershaft	Transmission 714.140	AR26.50-T-0001AA
		Transmission 714.120	AR26.50-T-0001BA
		Transmission 714.668/690/ 691/692	AR26.50-T-0001B
6	Remove bearing cap of input shaft (1)		AR26.30-T-1010B
7.1	Remove input shaft (1) from front transmission housing (2) from outside inwards together with inner race of tapered roller bearing	except transmission 714.668
7.2	Remove input shaft (1) from front transmission housing (2) together with cylindrical roller bearing	Only on transmission 714.668
		 Turn the front transmission housing (2) so that the input shaft (1) is horizontal. Knock out input shaft (1) forwards using a plastic mallet.
8	Install in the reverse order
