Remove transmission

Detach clutch housing from transmission

 Only perform on transmission without integrated clutch housing.

Attach transmission to assembly device

Remove shift mechanism

with code G62 "Manual" gearshift

with code G63 "Control cable" gearshift

Remove rear transmission housing

Remove shift forks and shift rails

Install separator (1) under inner race of tapered roller bearing of countershaft



Bolt crossbar (2) to main shaft (7) using the stretch bolt of the output flange

 Use stretch bolt (7) of output flange or a commercially available bolt M20X1,5 with shim.



Connect separator (1) and crossmember (2) using spindle



Lift countershaft and main shaft together out of front transmission housing

 Use suitable lifting gear.

Pull out oil guide tube

Install in the reverse order
