Remove

Disassemble transmission housing

Remove central clutch operator

AR25.20-D-0180A

Remove radial shaft seal at the input end

Remove circlip (5)

Press out input shaft (1) using a suitable drift

Press back input shaft bearing (3).

 This exposes the circlip (2).

Remove circlip (2).

Drive out input shaft bearing (3) using a drift

Install

Press new input shaft bearing (3) into front section of transmission housing (4) using drift until the bearing touches the bearing seat.

 Replace the input shaft bearing.

Pay attention to the position of the pin in the bearing seat (arrow).

 With transmission 711.620/621 select a suitable drift.

Adjust input shaft bearing play

 If the front section of the transmission housing was replaced. Replace locking ring.

Press in input shaft (1).

 The inner race of the input shaft bearing must be supported when pressing in the input shaft with the press-in tool .
