1 Measure axial play between bearing (2) and locking ring (1),
(specification see table).
2 If measured value does not match desired value, remove circlip (1) and measure thickness.
3 Determine thickness of new circlip (1).
Circlips are available in thicknesses of 2.68, 2.74, 2.80, 2.85, and 2.9 mm.
4 Install the correct circlip (1).
5 To check axial play between bearing (2) and circlip (1) measure again, repeat adjustment procedure if necessary.
