1 | Remove output shaft (14) | ||
2 | Detach collar nut (1) | Clamp output shaft (14) in a vise. Compress clutch pack with two C-clamps. Unlock the collar nut (1) by shearing off the collar. | |
Installation: Secure the collar nut by notching the collar in the groove of the output shaft (14). | |||

3 | Detach shift cylinder (3) | Loosen C-clamps evenly and remove the shift cylinder (3). | |
Installation: The push springs (15) must not twist when clamped together. | |||
4 | Press the shift piston (6) out of the shift cylinder (3) | Installation: Check the ball (arrow) in the shift cylinder (3) for unobstructed movement. When inserting the shift piston (6) ensure that the lip sealing rings (4, 5) are not damaged. | |
5 | Detach lip seals (4, 5) | Installation: Oil new lip sealing rings (4, 5) lightly and install. | |
6 | Remove push springs (15) | Installation: Only replace push springs (15) in sets. | |
7 | Remove externally toothed plates (7) and internally toothed plates (8) | Installation: First mount an externally toothed plate (7) then alternately an internally toothed plate (8) and an externally toothed plate (7). | |
8 | Remove oil pipe (11) | Unscrew grub screw (13) and pull the oil pipe (11) out of the output shaft (14). | |
Installation: Install the oil pipe (11) so that the threaded hole on the output shaft (14) matches the blind hole bore of the oil pipe (11). | |||
9 | Detach O-rings (12) and piston rings (10) | Lift out the piston rings (10) at the joint. | |
Installation: Install new piston rings (10) and new O-rings (12). | |||
10 | Install in the reverse order |
