Assemble

1

Install bearing outer races (3, 4) into front PTO housing (2)

 Use a suitable drift.

Heat tapered roller bearing (5, 10) to approx. 80 °C and push onto drive shaft (8)

Heat tapered roller bearing (6, 9) to approx. 80 °C and push onto output shaft (7)

Determine adjustment shim (14) for drive shaft (8)

Determine adjustment shim (13) for output shaft (7)

Insert determined adjustment shims (13, 14) and fit bearing outer races (11, 12) using a suitable drift into the rear power take-off housing (15)

Insert drive shaft (8) and output shaft (7) into front power take-off housing (2)

Assemble shift shaft (20)

Insert shift shaft (20) into drive shaft (8)

Mount rear power take-off housing (15) onto front power take-off housing (2)

 Clean sealing surfaces and coat with sealant.

 Bolt, front power take-off housing to rear power take-off housing

Loctite 5203 sealant

Install shift cylinder with solenoid valve (19)

AR26.45-W-0022D

 Replace seal (18).

Assemble bearing housing output (17)

Only with power take-off 131-2b.
