		 Never use impact wrench or compressed air tools for screwing in or unscrewing the bolts! Otherwise the threads can get damaged.
14	Lash down transmission (1)
15	Disconnect electrical connector of transmission neutral position sensor and expose		AR26.19-P-0003LW
16	Detach drive shaft flexible coupling from the transmission		AR41.10-P-0040-01LW
	Drift for releasing the fitting sleeves in the flexible couplings		WF58.50-P-4110-01A
		 Installation: Replace bolts.
		 Flex disk or joint flange at transmission/rear axle differential or propeller shaft	*BA41.10-P-1001-01L

17	Detach center shifter console and shift rod from transmission (1)		AR26.60-P-0600-02LW

18	Lower transmission (1)	Transmission 716.7 in model 205 with engine 626
		 Whilst doing so, make sure that no electrical lines are under tension.
19	Remove bolts (7) and place bracket (8) to one side	Transmission 716.7 in model 205 with engine 626
20	Remove bolts and remove transmission (1) diagonally downwards	 Installation: Carefully insert transmission (1) with transmission input shaft and without tilting it into the pilot bearing. The pilot bearing will otherwise be damaged.

	Check
21	Remove clutch, check for damage and, if necessary, replace		AR25.10-P-0050LW
22	Check rear radial shaft sealing ring of the crankshaft	If leaks are present
		
		Replace rear radial shaft sealing ring of crankshaft.

23	Check pilot bushing	In the event of corrosion or damage

		Replace pilot bushing.
	Clean
24	Clean transmission input shaft on splined shaft and guide	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
25	Apply light coating of heat-resistant lubricant to transmission input shaft on splined shaft all way round	 Do not apply heat-resistant lubricant to clutch lining. Otherwise the clutch lining will be damaged.

26	Install in the reverse order

27	Check transmission oil level and correct if necessary		AR26.00-P-0200LW
 Warning	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. 28	Carry out an engine test run and check transmission (1) for leak tightness
