Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Remove/install

Remove the differential pressure sensor with the crash plate (3) and place to one side.

Remove the heat shield (10).

Remove cap (2).

Extract the coolant from the coolant expansion reservoir (1) and collect the coolant in a suitable container.

Remove the bleed line (4) from the coolant expansion reservoir (1) and seal the openings with suitable stop plugs.

Remove expansion rivet (9).

Unclip coolant expansion reservoir (1).

Remove the coolant hoses (5, 7, 8) from the coolant expansion reservoir (1) and seal the openings with suitable protective covers.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (6).

Unclip the wiring harness from the coolant expansion reservoir (1).

Remove the coolant expansion reservoir (1).

Check the rubber guides on the coolant expansion reservoir (1) for wear and damage.

If there are problems,



Replace rubber guides.

Install in the reverse order.

Check engine cooling system for leak tightness.
