1 Detach coolant hoses (1 and 3) and vent hose (2) at coolant thermostat housing.
Inspect condition of coolant hoses and hose clamps, replace if necessary.
2 Unplug connectors (4 and 5) at the temperature sensors.
Engine 111.984 is equipped only with one temperature sensor.

3 Unscrew bolts (6 and 7) and take off engine lifting eye (8).
4 Unscrew bolts (9 and 10).

Unscrew bolt (11) of cable fixture (13) and place wiring loom to the side.
5.2 Engine 111.984
Unplug connector from camshaft adjuster and place wiring loom to the side.
6 Unscrew bolts (12).
7 Pull coolant thermostat housing out of front cover.

8 Take off seal (15) at coolant thermostat housing (14).
9 Install in the reverse order.
Replace seal (15), clean sealing surfaces.
Pay attention to tightening torque.
