1 | Remove exhaust gas recirculation valve | ||
2 | Remove screw/bolts (2) | Screw/bolt, exhaust gas recirculation line to exhaust gas recirculation valve housing | |
Set of flexible head wrenches | |||
3 | Unscrew screw/bolts (3) and take off exhaust gas recirculation pipe (4) | Turn exhaust gas recirculation pipe (4) when removing from the mixing chamber (5) counterclockwise. | |
Installation: Screw on screw/bolts (2, 3) by hand until the flange faces are even. | |||

4 | Take off seals (6) | Installation: replace seals (6). | |

5 | Clean sealing surfaces on mixing chamber (5) and clean exhaust gas recirculation valve housing (1) | ||
6 | Clean sealing surfaces on the exhaust gas recirculation pipe (4) | Only if the exhaust gas recirculation pipe (4) was not replaced. | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||

Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. | |
8 | Perform engine test run and check area around the exhaust gas recirculation pipe (4) for leaktightness |
