2 | Remove engine intake air duct hose upstream of air filter | ||
3 | Loosen poly-V-belt (1) | ||

4 | Remove poly-V-belt (1) | When carrying out further operations on the engine or timing case cover, relieve tensioning device (2). | |
| Checking | ||
5 | Check poly-V-belt (1) | Check poly-V-belt (1) for damage and traces of wear, replace if necessary. | |
| Check poly-V-belt in visible area for wear | ||
6 | Inspect tensioning device (2) and tensioning pulley (3) | Check tensioning device (2) and tensioning pulley (3) for damage and wear, replace if necessary. | |
| Install | ||
7 | Fit on poly V-belt (1) | Do not use belt wax or similar products to ensure that the poly V-belt (1) does not suffer from slippage. | |
