| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove air filter housing. | ||
Installation: Only install air intake pipe after leak test. | |||
2 | Remove cable duct (7). | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connector (8). | ||
4 | Unclip electrical wiring harnesses (11, 12, 13, 14) (arrows) and expose. | Clip remover | |
5 | Unclip bleed line (10) from mixer housing (1) and place to one side. | Clip remover | |
6 | Remove coolant hose (9) from mixer housing (1) and place to one side. | ||
7 | Remove screws (5) and remove high pressure-exhaust gas recirculation line (4) upward. | Installation: Replace seal and sealing ring. | |

8 | Remove bolts (2, 3). | Screw/bolt, mixing chamber to charge air distributor | |

9 | Remove mixer housing (1) upward. | Installation: Install new sealing ring between the mixer housing (1) and the throttle valve actuator (6). | |

10 | Remove boost pressure sensor. | If mixer housing (1) is replaced. | |
11 | Install in the reverse order | ||
