| Remove/install | ||
1 | Open engine hood | ||
2 | Remove cylinder head cover trim | ||
3 | Remove cover (2) | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connections on CDI control unit (N3/9) | ||
5 | Unclip electrical lines from air filter housing (1) at the front | Installation: Check for correct seating. | |
6 | Unclip engine wiring harness at air filter housing (1) | ||
7 | Detach boost pressure control pressure transducer and place with attached lines to one side | ||
8 | Unfasten clamp (3) and detach air intake hose on hot film MAF sensor | Installation: Check clamp (3) for damage. | |
9 | Detach engine air intake duct (4) on air filter housing (1) | ||
10 | Remove air filter housing (1) upwards | Installation: Ensure correct seating of the air filter housing (1) in the elastomer bearings (5). | |
11 | Install in the reverse order |
