Install retaining lock for crankshaft/starter ring gear

Remove bolt (1)

 Installation: If no angle tightener is available, the bolts can be turned by the specified angle in a single stroke, using a socket wrench and locking handle (1).

In order to avoid any angle errors it is not permitted to use a flexi-rod torque wrench for tightening to angle degrees as this falsifies the tightening torque.



Take off flywheel (2)

Transmission 716.6

 The flywheel (2) is individually balanced in the factory and can therefore be replaced without balancing.

A certain installation position of the flywheel (2) is fixed by the straight pin (3).

Take off drive plate (4) and washers (5)

Transmission 722.6

 The drive plate (4) is individually balanced at the factory, and can therefore be replaced without balancing.

A certain installation position of the drive plate (4) is fixed by the straight pin (3).
