6 | Remove camshaft position sensor (1) | Installation: Use new O-rings (2) and lubricate lightly. Push camshaft position sensor to end stop into timing case. | |

8 | Remove bolts (6) | The air compressor is also fastened with a bolt. Installation: After installing radial seal timing case (9) replace: | |
Replace front crankshaft radial sealing ring | |||

9 | Remove timing case (5) | Installation: When replacing timing case, transfer all detachable parts. Place timing case on the dowel pins (8) and drive on using a plastic mallet. Trim off any protruding seal exactly after installing the timing case. | |
Loctite sealant 574 Apply sealant to separation points to sealing surface on oil pan. | |||
10 | Remove gasket (7) | Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and fix new seal with grease on cylinder crankcase. | |
11 | Install in the reverse order |
