Danger ! | Risk of poisoning from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury from skin and eye contact with brake fluid | Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.
| Brake fluid notes | ||
1 | Identify the fluid level in the expansion reservoir (1) with an adhesive strip (e.g. insulation tape) | If after replacing the brake fluid the expansion reservoir (1) is filled above the current level, there is a danger that it will be overfilled or overflows, e.g. when replacing the brake linings.
2 | Extract brake fluid in the expansion reservoir (1) | Extract brake fluid in the expansion reservoir (1) until there is a residual amount of approx. 10 mm.
