The complete wheel can otherwise work its way loose from the vehicle.

Install

Swap over wheel and tire assemblies on front and rear axle.

If necessary, subject to a separate repair order and only for vehicles without mixed tires.


Maintain running direction of wheel and tire assemblies.
Otherwise handling characteristics and handling comfort may be impaired and tire wear increased.

Mount wheel and tire assemblies and tighten wheel bolts.

Install hub caps.

Vehicles with hub caps.


Check for correct positioning of hubcap to valve and for correct seating.
Otherwise the valve will be damaged or the hubcap will be lost.

Activate tire pressure monitoring system.

Only for wheel-and-tire assembly change, tire replacement or a change in tire pressure.


