Checking

Clean area around oil filler screw (1)

The transmission must be at operating temperature for the oil level check.

Remove and clean oil filler screw (1)

 Place container underneath for any oil which may run out.



Check oil level, adjust to correct level if necessary.

 The oil must be at the bottom edge of the filler opening (arrow).

If there is a shortage of oil, the transmission must be checked for leaks.

If necessary seal transmission subject to separate repair order.


